Walk On is the brand new album from Shelagh Baynham and it will be released in April 2006. Shelagh has chosen 6 of her favourite songs with a variety of styles so hopefully there will be something to please everyone listening to the album. Shelagh is fortunate to have some friends who are extremely talented musicians who have helped with the album by arranging songs, singing backing vocals and playing solo instruments. Ian Price has arranged and played three of the tracks and lends his excellent singing voice to a duet on the title track "Walk On". Ian is also backing singer on "January, February" and "Breath of Heaven". Chris King has arranged and played the backing arrangement on the wonderfully laid back "Someone to Watch Over Me". Julia Tiddy has beautifully recorded the saxophone instrumental in "Girl from Ipanema" in the true style of the original recording.
All of the proceeds from the sale of Walk On will be shared between supporting Shelagh to fund her passage on the Brazil Mission Trip 2006 being run by Sutton Coldfield Baptist Church and supporting Medical Projects related to Saltmine Trust's work in Bulgaria. The price for Walk On is a minimum suggested donation of £7.00 plus £1 postage and packing (UK). UK Sterling Bank Cheques and Money Orders can be accepted (cash at your own risk) Print off an order form here (right click on mouse and save target...to your desktop)
